ToneFit App Terms of Service
The terms you agree to when you use the ToneFit iPhone app, including what its skin tone readings can and cannot tell you.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This page covers the ToneFit mobile app. For the UndertoneOnline website, see the website terms of service.
What ToneFit is
ToneFit is a personal color analysis tool. It photographs your wrist and face, analyzes your skin tone on your device, and suggests clothing and makeup colors using a fixed rule engine.
Results are guidance, not expert advice
Skin tone readings depend on lighting, camera hardware, and screen calibration, and can differ between sessions. ToneFit's suggestions are a starting point for your own judgment — not professional color consulting, styling, or medical advice. Do not rely on them for decisions that affect your health or finances.
Your responsibility
Photograph only yourself, or someone who has agreed to be photographed. You are responsible for how you use the app and what you do with its results.
Your data is local, and only local
ToneFit stores everything on your device with no cloud backup. If you delete the app, reset your device, or switch phones, your records are gone. Export your data from Settings before you do any of these.
Ownership
ToneFit, its design, and its color libraries belong to the developer. You may use the app for personal purposes. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content.
Limitation of liability
ToneFit is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including lost data.
